Dawod Thomas

FOUNDER

Dawod Thomas is a Baltimore resident who graduated with an AA degree in general studies from Baltimore City Community College. Dawod has been working with youth for 25 years and is currently a behavioral specialist at Southwest Baltimore Charter School. Dawod founded MFP in hopes to further his own father’s vision of a better Baltimore. “I want kids to respect themselves, to respect others and respect the communities where they live. I want to be the change I want to see in them. If given the right opportunities young people can be successful in all walks of life, starting with the neighborhoods in which they live.”

Teione Carroll

Senior Mentor

Teione Carroll is a graduate of Lake Clifton High School in Baltimore, Maryland. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Wagner College. Teione has been working with youth in Baltimore City for 15 years and is currently a behavioral specialist at Southwest Baltimore Charter School. “Youth represent the ideas that go unnoticed and the voices that are not heard. My main goal is to bring those ideas to light so their voices can be heard and actions can be seen by acts of service. I want the youth to be able to express themselves and not allow their emotions to make decisions for them.”


Lindsey Suter

Rehabilitation Specialist

Lindsey Suter graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work from Colorado State University and a Masters of Social Work from University of Maryland, Baltimore. Lindsey is the owner of L.E.A.P. Counseling LLC and has over 15 years experience providing mental health therapy to children, teens and adults. Lindsey is the rehab specialist for My Fathers Plan and oversees the clinical side of the PRP program.


Neria Thomas

Executive Administrator

Neria Thomas graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology from Morgan State University and is currently studying to complete a Dual Masters of Social Work & Human Sexuality from Widener University. Neria is the owner of The Marula Foundation, LLC and has over 10 years experience in community engagement and mental health care support. Neria is the Executive Administrator for My Fathers Plan and oversees the administration side of the PRP program.


Aiyana Thomas

Program Manager Direct Care Worker

Aiyana Thomas graduated from Baltimore City College High School and from Community College of Baltimore County with an Associate of Arts. Aiyana has 10 years of experience in mentoring and community service. Aiyana is the Program Manager for My Fathers Plan, and a direct care worker in the mental health program.
