Providing Hope - Offering Opportunities - Creating Change
When I was a boy, my dad would talk about having a boys group that would allow boys across the city to be acquainted with one another without living in the same neighborhood. He talked about having a brotherhood that would decrease the need to feel threatened by another black man on sight. I took his blue print and added a few things: (1) we have young girls as well, and (2) the ‘plan’ cannot happen without an economic component.
